Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every project with Monivect Studio. The specifics of each project (scope, price, schedule) are in the proposal you approve, and where it differs from this page, the proposal applies.

Proposal and scope

Prices on this site are starting prices. The final price, scope, schedule and what isn't included are set out in the proposal. Work starts once the proposal is approved and we have received the first payment.

Payment

  • Website, Business System and All-in-One: 50% when the project starts, 50% before the site or system goes live.
  • Custom System: in stages, on the schedule in the proposal.
  • Care plans: billed at the start of each month, hosting included.

Rupiah and US dollar prices are set separately and are not converted at an exchange rate. Third-party service fees are billed at cost.

Revisions and changes

The number of revision rounds is in the proposal. One round means all feedback is collected into one list and worked through in one go. Anything outside the scope is written down with the extra time and cost, and only done once you approve it.

Warranty

For 30 days after launch, we fix at no cost any bug that stops the site or system from working the way we agreed. The warranty does not cover new features, design changes, or problems caused by changes someone else made.

Ownership

Once the project is paid in full, the code, design and content belong to you. The data stored in your site or system, such as orders, customers and transactions, belongs to you too, including while we run the hosting. Open-source libraries inside it keep their own licences. We may show the project in Monivect's portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Domain

Your domain is always registered in your business’s name, in your own registrar account, and renewed through that account. We only set up its DNS so the domain points to your site or system.

Hosting

While your care plan runs, Monivect manages the hosting on servers and accounts we run, including security, updates, backups and monitoring. The cost is included in the care plan's price.

You may also host it yourself. In that case your site or system runs on hosting accounts in your business’s name, you pay the providers directly, and server security, updates and backups are your responsibility. Our warranty still covers bugs in the code, but not problems that come from a server or hosting setup outside Monivect.

When a care plan ends

If you stop your care plan, we move the website, the code, the CMS content and the database to accounts in your business’s name, so you are never locked in to Monivect. Once the move is done, the hosting providers bill you directly.

Third-party services

The availability of third-party services, such as hosting, a payment gateway or email delivery, follows each provider's own terms.

Confidentiality

Business information you share during a project is used only for that project and is not shared with anyone else.

Cancellation

If a project stops partway through, the work completed up to that point is paid for in proportion, and we hand over what has been built.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
