Buyers order from their phone, the order lands in the shop’s admin, and the stock goes down in both places at once. You can try the demo on its page.

Homemade sambal sold over chat

We designed this concept for a home business selling sambal and snacks, until now over chat and marketplaces. It is not client work: the shop is made up, and no order is saved or sent.

Every order copied by hand from a chat

Selling over chat means every order is read, copied and checked again. What we set out to solve:

  • Buyers ask about stock and prices one item at a time before ordering
  • Orders from chat are copied into notes, then checked again before packing
  • Sold-out items still get ordered, because the stock is not connected
  • Nobody can tell at a glance which orders are packed and which have shipped

Order as a buyer, then pack it as the admin

Fill the cart, add a name, then order. In the shop admin the order is already waiting to be packed, and the stock has gone down.

    One stock list for the buyer and the admin

    The shop page and the admin read the same stock and orders:

    • Stock shows on every product, so buyers do not have to ask first
    • Sold-out items cannot be ordered, so no order has to be cancelled
    • Orders come in with their status, from new to packed to shipped or ready to collect
    • Sales today come from the orders, not from a tally of chats

    In a real project payments are checked automatically through a payment gateway, shipping is worked out from the address, and buyers hear on WhatsApp each time the status changes.

    Our first client: a bilingual site for a coffee shop by the rice fields of Madiun. A 91-item menu, delivery and table bookings on WhatsApp, scheduled promos and a staff panel the Karpen team runs themselves.
